The sounds used in Sound Therapy

Sound therapy sessions use a blend of carefully applied instruments chosen to support deep relaxation and nervous system rest.

Each session is guided by how you are feeling on the day, with the sounds and pace shaped around what feels most supportive in that moment.

The intention is not to overwhelm the senses, but to create an experience that feels calming, grounding and deeply restorative.

Himalayan Singing Bowls

Himalayan singing bowls produce deep, grounding tones that help create a sense of calm and relaxation during a session.

They may be played both around the body and gently on the body, allowing the vibration to be felt directly as part of the experience.

Many people find the sound and vibration deeply soothing, often noticing softer physical tension and a greater sense of calm, stillness and grounding afterwards.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Crystal singing bowls create soft, resonant tones that many people experience as calming, spacious and deeply immersive.

Their clear sound can help quieten mental noise and encourage a greater sense of calm, clarity and emotional space during a session.

Many people are drawn to crystal bowls for their light, soothing quality and the sense of stillness they can create.

Gongs

Gongs create deep, immersive layers of sound that can feel both calming and expansive during a session. Their rich tones often help quieten the busy mind and encourage the body to relax naturally, creating a sense of deep rest and stillness. Many people experience gong sound as grounding, spacious and deeply soothing, often leaving sessions feeling calmer and more settled afterwards.

Monochord

The monochord creates a soft, flowing sound with gentle layers of resonance and harmonics. Its continuous tones can feel deeply calming and comforting, helping the body and mind slow down into a quieter, more restful state. Many people experience the monochord as soothing, grounding and deeply supportive during moments of stress, overwhelm or mental fatigue.
