Service Description
A 1:1 session designed to help you step out of stress and experience a different state. This is where the work begins. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or unable to fully switch off, your system can become used to that way of being. Over time, it can start to feel like the norm. The First Shift is where that begins to change. This is not talking therapy, and you don’t need to explain everything or find the right words. We begin with a simple check-in to understand what’s present for you, followed by a guided sound session designed to work directly with your nervous system. You’ll lie comfortably while sound is played around you, helping to slow things down, reduce internal noise, and create space away from the patterns you’ve been caught in. Many people experience this as a deeply restful state, somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, where the body softens and the mind becomes quieter. This shift is important. It gives your system a reference point for something different. At the end of the session, we take a moment to notice what’s changed. There’s no pressure to analyse or explain, just an opportunity to recognise the difference. For some, one session is enough to create a clear shift. For others, this becomes the starting point for deeper work over time. If it feels right, you can continue into a structured 3-session programme designed to support longer-term change.
Cancellation Policy
When you book, that hour is held just for you. If you need to move your session, please give at least 48 hours’ notice so the space can be offered to someone else. Late cancellations or non-attendance are non-refundable. Thank you for respecting the time and energy that goes into preparing your session.
